My Boyfriend Is Away On Business
My boyfriend and I moved in together a few months ago. Genuinely, it has been an easy adjustment and our living styles are very compatible. He isn’t a messy man and he is incredibly considerate.
Plus, it helps we chose a larger apartment so we wouldn’t constantly be on top of each other…which definitely helps the transition.
And while I love living with my boyfriend, some habits are hindered by having a romantic partner as a roommate.
There are pros and cons of any living situation, so this week while he is away on a business trip, I am making the most of my alone time and enjoying some small pros of living alone. I must admit some of these little things do have a certain charm about them.
Cheese how I missed you. I know Marc is lactose intolerant so we seldom see each other anymore. And honestly, you aren’t very healthy for me anyway so our dairy-free household isn’t the worst. But I do still love you and this week I’m glad we had our rendezvous.
Speaking of cheese…cheesy romcoms every night of the week! It’s not that I can’t watch them with Marc, he indulges me often. But romcoms do have an extra delightfulness when they aren’t made fun of.
