its not as simple as “i want to be treated equally to men". If a man was in my position, felt violated, and was subsequently dismissed…that is just as wrong and the threat could be just as severe. I would also advocate for the man to be vindicated and protected. It would be wrong of people to be dismissive to a man in the same position and additionally because society assumes a man is immune from certain threats, its just as messed up (arguably more in some areas). So no, the solution isn’t a man would be dismissed, women should just be okay with also being dismissed as well.
